What exercise did you do before CrossFit?
Bootcamp, running, biking, triathlons.
What was your first exposure to CrossFit? Take us back to your first WOD… what was it, and how did it feel?
I remember Jill taking me to a class before she opened the gym. I could not move for days after!
What sort of changes have you seen in your body, health and fitness since starting CrossFit?
A very big change in my body. I feel so much better losing weight. It has helped me in every aspect of my life.
Any favorite moments or accomplishments?
My favorite CrossFit accomplishments are reaching my goal in the Challenge. Also, getting my pull-ups!
What are your hobbies, interests or talents outside of CrossFit?
I enjoy doing races… (but with the advice of my coaches, I have cut back)
Who inspires you as an athlete?
My niece and nephew
What is your favorite Paleo Meal?
Any advice for people just getting started?
Just do it and stick with it. Get the eating dialed in right away. The eating is huge!! Listen to your coaches. They know what they are talking about. It took me 1½ years to figure this out!
